WELCOME TO THE SWAP MEET

Just because an ad is old does not mean it is out-of-date. Some items have a very limited audience and take a long time to find a new owner. Some items can be priced too high, and take a long time to sell. And even though these ads are updated on a regular basis, you can run across a stale ad because it takes time to remove an ad. So, if you find a stale ad, please don't assume that the owner is a "deadbeat". When an item is bought or sold, it takes time to complete the transaction. Many of our buyers and sellers are in different parts of the globe and ads can be listed until "the check clears". And when the buyer or seller finally does notify the SUBCLUB, it can take us several days to get the ad removed. In addition, sellers can have "more than one" of what they are selling, so an ad can appear old even when it is still available.

With all that said, if you discover an ad that has been stale for too long, please let us know. We will remove the ad, and bar the lister from further participation.
