Minox IIIS

Woodland Reflection, Montville, New Jersey (2000)

"I always shoot pond reflections when I'm walking in the woods, but this one turned out better than I expected. The burnt-out portions of the image in the center actually serve to draw your eye in deeper."

1956 Minox IIIS with Agfapan 100 film, exposure probably 1/100. Developed in D-76 1:1 and printed at 4x5" on Luminos Flexicon VC RC with a #4 filter using a 1950s Omega D3 enlarger with a 50mm EL-Nikkor lens. Scanned to PCX file at 150dpi, then converted to JPEG with minor contrast correction (and no additional sharpening)
