"Like many subbers, I've been lamenting the lack of 16mm color film. Nearly all of the current 16mm color film is special movie film. I can slit 16mm from 35mm, but what a pain. I've feared using the 16mm movie negative film because of the REM JET backing. But now I have new hope. Here are my first results. With the REMJET remover and light rubbing, the backing comes off. I'll be shooting up a storm with color film in my subminis from now on!"
The first shot -- PEACHES -- used Kodak EXR 50D 7245 color negative film (ISO 50). 1/60 at f4. 400mm close-up lens. Developed in Unicolor K2 (1+2) at 90 degrees for 6 minutes. Scanned with a Nikon Coolscan. The contrast of the image was slightly increased in Picture Publisher."
The second shot -- MORNING GLORY -- used Kodak EXR 50D 7245 color negative film (ISO 50). 1/125 at f2.8. 400mm close-up lens. Developed in Unicolor K2 (1+2) at 90 degrees for 6 minutes. Scanned with a Nikon Coolscan. "
