Lure

"I was really surprised at the quality of the results from this 'junk-store' Lure camera.  I expected images along the line of the Hit cameras with fuzzy edges and lots of light fall-off.  After all, the lens is a cheap, two-element, plastic job.  The results are even better than this image suggests.  Reloading the Lure is a pain -- the first few times -- but if you like a challenge, give it a try!  It's worth the effort."

Fixed exposure settings -- f11 @ 1/80.  The camera was reloaded with 16mm single perf Ilford FP-4 B&W movie film.  Exposure was with a Magic-cube.  Film developed in D-76 (1+1) for 8.5 minutes at 68 degrees.  Enlarged in a Beseler 4x5 enlarger with diffusion head and Minolta CE Rokkor-X 30mm f2.8 lens.  I used a 12x17mm carrier, so the sprocket holes from the single perf film don't show up.  Paper was Ilford Multigrade III exposed for 10 seconds at f8 (no filter).
