If something goes wrong during your use of the mailing list, you can probably find the solution in these instructions. Please refer to these pages BEFORE you send e-mail to us. We don't live on-line, and it might take us quite a while to get back to you. It would be a good idea for you to print out a copy of this page for future reference.

To join the list (subscribe):

In an e-mail message, send the command: SUBSCRIBE SUBMINI-L, followed by your real name, to listserv@listserv.aol.com. The "subject" field is ignored.

Example:

TO: listserv@listserv.aol.com
SUBJECT: Sign me up!
MESSAGE: SUBSCRIBE SUBMINI-L first_name last_name
In place of "first_name last_name", be sure to put your real first name, followed by your real last name.
for example:
SUBSCRIBE SUBMINI-L Larry Feldman

You will be sent a response from the server in an e-mail message with a welcome note and instructions for future reference. There are several options that are available to let you customize your settings. Please print out these instructions for future use. If you don't get a response or you don't get the welcome message, you have not successfully been registered. In that event, please re-read these instructions and try again.

If you would like a list of all previous message topics, you can request the INDEX:

After subscribing, send an e-mail message to: listserv@listserv.aol.com with the command: INDEX SUBMINI-L

Example:

TO: listserv@listserv.aol.com
SUBJECT: List the index
MESSAGE: INDEX SUBMINI-L

An index of past messages will be e-mailed to you with information about how to access the messages if you would like..

If you would prefer to receive all your Round Table email grouped together into one large message, submit the DIGEST command:

After subscribing, send an e-mail message to: listserv@listserv.aol.com with the command: SET SUBMINI-L DIGEST

Example:

TO: listserv@listserv.aol.com
SUBJECT: Digest my mail
MESSAGE: SET SUBMINI-L DIGEST

Some members of this list have noticed that their email boxes get filled from all the mail that this list generates. You can use this command to solve this problem. All future mail will come to you each day as a long message as opposed to individual messages. Some people like this option, since is prevents their email box from being flooded. Others find it a nuisance. To turn digesting off, use the command SET SUBMINI-L NODIGEST.

To remove yourself from the list (unsubscribe):

Send UNSUBSCRIBE SUBMINI-L in e-mail to listserv@listserv.aol.com

Example:

TO: listserv@listserv.aol.com
SUBJECT: Bye Bye!
MESSAGE: UNSUBSCRIBE SUBMINI-L

Example:
